Think Railways

Bulgarian National railway infrastructure company (NRIC) has signed EUR 18.5 million contracts. Two contracts were signed with Vector Bul (Lot 1, BGN 1 million) and Association CE 22 (lot 2, BGN 8.8 million) for Update of detailed project design for  Vidin – Sofia and project preparation for Vidin – Medkovets ( 66 km)  railway section modernisation.

NRIC and Elih Association signed  a BGN 10 million contract for Preparation of a detailed project design for "Modernisation of Sofia - Plovdiv railway line, sections Sofia – Elin Pelin, Elin Pelin – Septemvri" project, lot 2. For Lot 3 of the project a BGN 15.88 million contract was awarded to EGIS - Eurotransproject  consortium. 

Both projects are co-financed from EU's Cohesion Fund (CF), under the Operational Programme "Transport" 2007-2013.
