Russian airport express operator, Aeroexpress plans to build a railway terminal at Moscow Domodedovo Airport, Russia’s largest airport. The financing for the project could be provided either by the Russian National Wealth Fund or by Aeroexpress attracted loans, informs Prime Agency.  In December last year, Alexei Sorokin, CEO of Aeroexpress,  stated that the construction of the railway terminal is planned to be launched in early 2015 and the new facility will be operational in 2017. Transmashholding tests 2TE25КМ new mainline freight locomotive

Transmashholding’s Bryansk Engineering Plant has started the 5,000 km operational trials of the new 2TE25КМ mainline freight locomotive. The new 2TE25KM can haul heavier trains and has lower operation costs, due to the improved engine capacity and increased adhesion weight. The locomotive is fitted with a pre-crash system, air conditioning system and independent heater to offer additional heating. The driver’s cab also offers better comfort and improved sound and vibration insulation, due to the cushioning materials used.
