CFR Marfa estimates over EUR 5 million profit in 2014

Romanian state-owned railway freight operator, CFR Marfa estimates for 2014 a profit of RON  23.69 million (EUR 5.2 million), an income of RON 1.11 billion and expenses of RON 1.09 billion. The company has unpaid debt of over RON 208.5 million and receivables of RON 450.7 million.

The Ministry of Transportation announced on October 20, 2014,  corrections in the Income and Expenses Budget of the company CFR Marfa for 2014 due to the increase in wage expenses and in the number of employees predicted by the end of the year 2014.

CFR Marfa SA had a market share of 58.5% in Q1 2014, which represents an increase compared to the 55.6 per cent market share registered in Q1 2013.
