Romanian state owned infrastructure manager, CFR SA has signed three contracts worth RON 47.4 million (EUR 10.7 million) for bridges and culverts rehabilitation works for Constanţa, Braşov and Timişoara regional subsidiaries.

Bilfinger Baugesellschaft mbH was awarded a RON 8.2 million (EUR 1.8 million) contract for the rehabilitation of two bridges and two culverts on SRCF Constanţa railway network. Works will take 9 months to complete. 

CFR SA signed two contracts with Confer Group - Radaria consortium for rehabilitation works for bridges and culverts on  SRCF Timişoara (4 bridges and 1 culvert) and SRCF Brasov (1 bridge and 2 culverts) networks. The total value is RON 39.2 million (EUR 8.9 million). Works will take 24 months to complete. 

The projects are included in the Sectoral Operational Programme "Transport" (SOP-T) 2007 - 2013 and are co-financed  by the European Union's Regional Development Fund and the State budget.
