Estonian state-owned railway infrastructure company, AS Eesti Raudtee reported revenues of EUR 55.5 million and a net loss of EUR 0.26 million for 2014. The company's operating income decreased by EUR 12.7 million (-18.6% y.o.y).

Sales revenue fell by 20% to EUR 51.5 million, of which 85% of the sales revenue was generated by cargo transport servicing, 7% by passenger transport and 8% by other activities.

The company invested a total of EUR 15.5 million  in 2014,  42% less compared to 2013.

On Eesti Raudtee network were transported 19.22 million tonnes of freight and container traffic volume reached 72,000 TEUs, a 16% increase.

The volume of freight transported in 2014 was 21% lower compared to 2013 results. Russia represented the main trade partner for in railway freight with 10.2 million tons of cargo. Compared to 2013, the volume decreased by 30 percent.
