EUR 7.6 million additional state funding for NRIC

The Government launched a public consultation in regarding an additional allocation of BGN 15 million (EUR 7.6 million) from the state budget to the Bulgarian National railway infrastructure company (NRIC). 

NRIC will use the money for paying the contractors of the three major infrastructure projects delayed: upgrading, modernising and electrifying Plovdiv – Svilengrad (Parvomai – Svilengrad) railway section (BGN 6.7 million),  modernization of the railway station in Septemvri-Plovdiv (BGN 5.4 million) and the rehabilitation of the Railway infrastructure along sections of the Plovdiv-Burgas line (BGN 3 million).
