Free WiFi in 108 public transport stations in Moscow
Mosgortrans has launched its project to offer free WiFi in public transport stations. Starting with the 24th of June, Moscow has WiFi connection in 108 tramway, bus, railway and metro stations located in different districts of the city. By the end of the year the number of transport stations offering the service will increase to 450.
"Access to global network is a service that meets the needs of the modern inhabitants of the capital city. Mosgortrans is doing its best to provide passengers the maximum comfort of new rolling stock, and additional services such as free internet. By fall, Wi-Fi will be available in a total of 450 metropolitan surface transport stations, "said Yevgeny Mikhailov, General Director of Mosgortrans ".
More than 50 passengers can simultaneously use the free wireless LAN and can navigate for 25 minutes/session with a speed of 10 Mbps.
