HZ Putnicki prijevoz and SZ – Potniski promet signed MoU on timetable harmonization
In the framework of the annual SEE conference, Croatian HŽ Putnički prijevoz and Slovenian SŽ – Potniški promet railway passenger operators signed a memorandum of understanding on timetable harmonization, on line Zagreb – Ljubljana – Trieste. The document was signed by Mr. Renato Humić (HŽ Putnički prijevoz) and Mr. Miloš Rovšnik (SŽ – Potniški promet).
The two operators will provide higher quality transportation service to passengers on Zagreb – Trieste line in timetable 2014/2015, including the change of trains in Ljubljana, to Villa Opicina, where bus transportation is available to the final destination – Trieste. Transfer time in Ljubljana will take about an hour for both directions, which will enable passengers from Zagreb to reach Italy with minimal number of transfers and shorter travelling time. The same applies to return journey, when, also, train number 410/411 continues its journey to Belgrade.
