Ineco to conduct feasibility study of Cairo – Luxor high-speed line
Ineco will carry out the feasibility studies for the future high speed line that will link Egypt's capital city Cairo and Luxor. This corridor of over 600 km will connect the two most important cities of the country, boosting its tourism infrastructure. With this important agreement, Ineco lays its international experience in high speed at the service of Egyptian plans in order to update its railway lines.
A delegation from the company, led by President Jesús Silva, has travelled to Egypt in order to meet with the Minister of Transport, Hany Dahy, as well as with other Egyptian Government infrastructure representatives, to strengthen in this way relations for the ongoing agreements.
Egypt is also expecting to improve its high-capacity transport system, particularly Cairo metro lines 4, 5 and 6, and the metro of Alexandria.
