The railway freight operator ITL Polska Sp. z o. o., part of the Captrain Group and headquartered in Wroclaw, will operate in the Polish market under the trade name Captrain Polska Sp. z o. o. With this step, its affiliation with the Captrain Group will now also be reflected in its name.

The future Captrain Polska was founded in 2006 as subsidiary of the ITL Eisenbahngesellschaft mbH (ITL) and has been providing rail freight services in Poland and cross-border transport since  2009. In 2011 the ITL organisation was integrated into the Captrain Group.
