Lithuanian Railways orders three Skoda double-deck EMUs

Lithuanian Railways and Škoda Vagonka signed a CZK 750 million (EUR 27.2 million) contract for the supply of three double-deck EMUs.
The 160km/h trains, equipped with air conditioning system, audiovisual system, internal and external CCTV will enter service on Vilnius - Minsk route. Lithuanian Railways fleet already includes ten double-deck units type 575.
Škody Vagonka plans to deliver all three units within the next 19-36 months.
