The first Gama diesel locomotives produced by Pesa for  PKP Intercity was unveiled at InnoTrans.

The Polish operator placed the order for 10  locomotives ( 2.4MW 140km/h) this year. The contract value is PLN 131 million (EUR 31).

Gama Locomotives fleet will be delivered before with October next year and will operate on in Ełk – Korsze, Ełk – Olecko – Suwałki, Rzeszów – Stalowa Wola – Zamość, Rzeszów – Jasło – Zagórz, Krzyż – Gorzów Wielkopolski, Piła – Krzyż non electrified routes.
