Russia: Beteltrans-Vossloh joint venture to launch production of rail fastenings in 2016

Vossloh Fastening Systems Rus JSC, a joint venture of Russian company Beteltrans JSC (BET) and German company Vossloh, plans to launch production of rail fastenings, including those intended for W-300 high-speed railway lines, in 2016.
BET, a subsidiary of Russian Railways, has also developed special-purpose reinforced concrete sleepers for high-speed railways suitable for various types of fastenings and the mass production can be launched already, announced Ruslan Pryanikov, General Director of BET.
Last year, BET together with German company Max Bogl and Polish company TINES built two experimental ballastless tracks, each 75 meters long, at the Experimental Ring of Russian Railway Research Institute (VNIIZhT).
