Holding Schwabe, part of Rostec State Corporation, and the Directorate of Railway Stations, a Russian Railways branch, signed an agreement to improve security and to install energy-saving LED technology in railway station complexes.

"The agreement plans to introduce high-tech equipment to improve the security of railway station complexes. In addition, innovative energy-saving LED technology will be installed in order to increase the energy efficiency of lighting inside stations and in station squares,  replacing fluorescent and incandescent light sources", said Sergei Maxine, CEO of the holding Schwabe.

The project will be carried out by Schwabe Moscow LLC and other companies in the holding. The first railway stations subject to the agreement are Savelovsky Station (Moscow), Kalachinskaya (Omsk) and Zheleznodorozhnyy Vokzal (Krasnodar).
