Siemens and Russian company Termotron have established a joint venture with the aim of combining the experience and solutions of German the company with the technologies of the Russian manufacturer in the field of rail automation. The document was signed by Dr. Jürgen Brandes, CEO Business Unit Mobility Management, Mobility Division, Siemens AG and Georgy Abushenko, General Director, Termotron.

The new company, Termotron Rail Automation specialises in the development, implementation and production of signaling systems and components for 1520 area railways.

The partners have agreed not to disclose the financial aspects of the transaction.
