Budapest Transport Corporation (BKV) has launched a tender to recondition 222 metro cars, part of Line 3 vehicle fleet, with option on a further 42 cars. Subject to the tender are metro cars types: 81-717/714 (185 cars) , 81-717 / 714-2M (10 cars) and Ev3 (27 cars). Reconditioning & modernisation works include: bogies and traction motors replacement;
