Pesa’s first Dart EMU manufactured for PKP Intercity has started dynamic testing on Bydgoszcz – Warlubie railway line. PesaDart has exceeded 160 km/h during the trials. Further testing will be carried out by the Railway Institute. In May 2014, PKP Intercity and Pesa signed a PLN 1.3 billion contract for 20 eight-car Dart EMUs, including 15 years’ maintenance.
