Croatian railway infrastructure manager HŽ Infrastruktura and rail freight operator Train Hungary Kft, Zagreb subsidiary, signed on Tuesday a series of contracts on the access to the Croatian railway infrastructure network, traction power supply and the use of service areas.

The operator announced its plans to expand the rolling stock fleet with ten 3400kW locomotives, which will operate in both Hungary and Croatia and to increase the volume of freight transport.

HŽ Infrastruktura has so far signed agreements on access to railway infrastructure with four railway freight operators.
