SNCF has selected TTG Transportation Technology to provide its  Energymiser® Driver Advisory System for the TGV fleet. Following the contract award in 2014, a joint seven month proof of concept (POC) assessment has been completed on the Marne‐la‐Vallée‐Chessy‐Montpellier‐St‐Roch and Marne‐la‐Vallee‐Chessy‐Marseille‐St‐Charles routes, successfully confirming the benefits of deploying the system across France.

As a result of the POC Energymiser® DAS is now being deployed to more than 1500 TGV drivers as part of SNCF’s on‐time running and energy optimisation programme, in order to optimise on‐time running and energy savings. The system is being integrated onto SNCF’s existing operational platform and provided to the drivers via hand‐held devices.

SNCF’s Project Director, SNCF Voyages said: “We will be working with TTG to ensure the system is deployed in an effective and timely manner and the project objectives are achieved. We are very pleased to continue working with TTG, with whom our collaboration has pioneered the first application of DAS to the mainline very high speed railway in France. We look forward to seeing the many benefits this system can bring to all of SNCF”.
