40% increase in passenger number in February compared to last year for Estonian operator Elron

Estonian railway passenger operator Elron transported over 390 000 passengers in February, 40% more than the same month last year, while ticket revenues totaled EUR 640,000 euros, which is 45% more than the same month in 2013.
"Elron's February results were very good and exceeded expectations," said Elron Chairman of the Board, Andrus Ossip. "On almost all of the routes the number of passengers increased compared to both January and February last year. In particular, a rapid growth in the number of passengers was registered on Tartu and Turku express lines".
Trains Line Eesti AS is a trademark Elron (www.elron.ee), a state-owned company that operates nationwide passenger transport. Elron currently uses 18 electric and 16 diesel trains.
