CIS countries to apply common tariffs on railway freight

CIS countries are going to apply common tariffs on freight by railway, CEO of Russian Railways, Chairman of the Council of the Board and President of OAO Russian Railways Vladimir Yakunin said at the 61st meeting of the Council for Rail Transport of the CIS and the Baltic States in Baku.
He noted that the decision on application of common tariff have already been agreed and will be adopted tomorrow’s meeting.
“This tariff cannot be permanent. It will change depending on market conjunctures. These tariffs will be applied in 2016”, Yakunin said.
