GE Transportation, Alstom and Patentes Talgo to increase investment in railway projects in Kazakhstan

At InnoTrans, Askar Mamin, President of JSC “NC “KTZ”, Russell Strouks, President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Transportation, Henri Poupart-Lafarge, President of Alstom Transport and Jose Maria Orio, President of Patentes Talgo agreed a series of action plans to increase the share of foreign companies in joint engineering projects until the end of this year.
This will allow the foreign companies to continue work on integrating Kazakh companies in the global supply chains, increasing the export potential.
The strategic decision of foreign companies underlines the favorable investment climate of the country and prospects for development of railway engineering in Kazakhstan.
